Why we love Aberporth

Relax in beautiful Ceredigion

A once busy fishing port this little coastal village is now the perfect place for a relaxing getaway in West Wales. The two sheltered and gently sloping sandy beaches provide the perfect place for families to enjoy Cardigan Bay.

Aberporth Beaches- Dolwen and Dyffryn

A Visit to Remember

The beach is popular with families,  paddle boarders and kayakers. Lifeguards are present through the summer season and there is an RNLI Lifeboat station at the beach.

At low tide there are lots of rock pools to explore. The coastal path runs along the cliff with easy walking to the local beaches of Tresaith (20 minutes away) and beyond.

There are beach shops and cafes so you can spend the whole day here. There are two car parks at the beach and parking is £3 per day. At peak times other car parks in the village may need to be used. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk from 18 Lilac Cottage. Though the way back will take longer as it is uphill!
